Guests, traveling masons, and men interested in
finding out more about Freemasonry or the Roswell Lodge
in particular are invited to visit us on any regularly
scheduled meeting night or public event.
Calendar…
The Roswell Lodge No. 165 is located a
block north of downtown Roswell, Georgia in the old
Methodist Church.
Contact & Directions…
All freemasons planning
to visit the Roswell lodge are invited to contact our
Secretary in
advance of their visit, when possible, and keep in
mind the following conventions regarding Masonic visitation:
When visiting a Masonic lodge in Georgia you are required
to have with you a paid-up current year's dues card
or receipt, a Travel Certificate, or other proof of
membership
and current good standing. If no Roswell Lodge member
can vouch for you than the Tyler of the lodge will
arrange for a committee to meet with you in the examining
room
prior to the opening of the lodge to verify your credentials
and claims that you are a mason. You should be prepared
to prove your Masonic membership in an appropriate
manner, although there is no specific ritualistic form
that you
should follow.
We provide courtesy aprons for members
and visitors but you are most welcome to wear your
own lodge’s traditional
formal Masonic dress when visiting. |
